Robert S. Bell, M.D.
Dr. Robert S. Bell founded NW Surgery in 1999. He earned his medical degree from Arizona College of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency at the University of California at Davis, and an orthopedic residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Bell is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has been in private practice since 1982 and his focus is general orthopedics with a special interest in shoulders and work-related injuries.

Dr. Kenneth G. Berliner, M.D. graduated in 1988 from Columbia University with a B.S. in BioChemical Engineering. He obtained his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1992. He then completed his Orthopaedic training from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1997. Dr. Berliner has been successfully practicing as a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon in Houston for over 20 years. During this time, he has become one of the most sought after Orthopedic surgeons in the region and has built an outstanding reputation for his Arthroscopic and Spine Surgeries.

Jeffrey D. Reuben, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Reuben graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He later earned both an M.D. and Ph.D from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Reuben completed his general surgery residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA and later completed an orthopedic residency at Harvard University. Along with his exemplary work in private practice and as a surgeon, Dr. Reuben has also had a prolific career in academia. He has served as an Associate Professor at Rice University, as well as Associate Professor and Chairman at The University of Texas Medical School. Dr. Reuben has held various leadership positions in several different professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He brought his skill and expertise to NW Surgery in 2012 where he specializes in neck, back, shoulder and knee pain, and injury.

Lubor Jarolimek, M.D.
Dr. Jarolimek was born in Prague, Czech Republic. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Biology. Dr. Jarolimek completed his medical degree, internship in General Surgery and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. Prior to becoming a Physician, Dr. Jarolimek trained in Judo at the United States Olympic Center in Colorado, Springs, Colorado. He is still active in the martial arts and is the World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion in the Senior Division. Dr. Jarolimek spends his free time with family, Jiu Jitsu training, kayaking and skiing.

Nicholas A. Fiore, M.D.
Dr. Fiore is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in hand surgery. He initially developed his interest in hand surgery after fracturing his wrist wrestling for Duke University. Forced to undergo surgery and placed in cast for several weeks, he truly recognized the profound impact having a hand injury can have on a person’s physical, emotional, and financial well-being. After obtaining his medical degree from Ross University School of medicine he entered general surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry- NJ Medical School. After graduating from residency, Dr. Fiore proceeded to acquire additional training in hand surgery from the Baylor College of Medicine accredited fellowship. Upon graduation he was invited to stay as faculty for which he was hired as an Assistant Professor in the division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Fiore has been in private practice since 2007.

Dr. Jose E. Rodriguez-Cordova is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. He then received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Dr. Rodriguez-Cordova then completed his internship and surgical residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn. He also completed a research fellowship in laser surgery, as well as his orthopaedic residency, at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Dr. Rodriguez-Cordova and his family then relocated to Texas so that he could complete his fellowship training in orthopaedic spine surgery at the Texas Back Institute in association with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Rodriguez-Cordova is a spine surgical specialist and licensed in Texas, New York, and Puerto Rico. He is also a member of a number of prestigious medical associations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Puerto Rico Medical Association, North American Spine Society, Houston Orthopaedic Society, and Texas Spine Society. Dr. Rodriguez-Cordova enjoys sharing his work and skills with upcoming students and served as a clinical instructor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston’s Hermann Hospital. When he’s not spending time at the office or with his family, Dr. Rodriguez-Cordova is out enjoying his favorite sports, including rowing and biking. Dr. Parker was the President of the SW division of the American College of Foot Surgeons as well as the Vice President of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons.He is honored to have the opportunity to lecture and teach cadaver courses nationally for the AENS and various State Podiatric Medical Associations on nerve surgery and various implants and fixations used in foot and ankle surgery. A Kansas native, Dr. Isaacson brings not only a passion for quality healthcare, but also a wealth of new skills to NW Surgery.
She specializes in using minimally invasive techniques to perform abdominal surgery for diseases, such as colon and rectal cancer, diverticular disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. She also provides many treatment options for anorectal and pelvic floor disorders, including hemorrhoids, anal fissures, fecal incontinence and constipation. In addition, Dr. Isaacson is proficient in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Isaacson strives to provide well-informed care using a variety of approaches to provide her patients with a unique plan of care fit especially for their needs. She has been named a Texas Rising Star 3 years in a row from Super Doctors, published in Texas Monthly.
To complement her vast expertise, she is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Esses is an internationally recognized expert in the field of spinal disorders who has developed several new surgical techniques and implants for the treatment of spinal problems. Dr. Esses is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He has lectured throughout the world and published numerous articles and book chapters on spine-related problems. Dr. Esses is author of “TEXTBOOK OF SPINAL DISORDERS” which is a standard reference for spinal medical personnel. Dr. Esses earned an M.S. and his M.D. from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. After finishing his orthopedic residency there, Dr. Esses completed two years of fellowship training in spinal surgery, including one year at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, six months at Chiba University in Japan, and six months as a McLaughlin fellow in Europe.

Suzanne Manzi, M.D.
Suzanne Manzi, MD, provides individualized and comprehensive medical evaluations and treatment plans for interventional pain management services, electrodiagnostic testing, and weight management treatments.
Born and raised at the Jersey Shore, Dr. Manzi played NCAA Division I Basketball for the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and then went on to receive her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2005.
She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine/ UT PM & R Alliance in 2009, followed by a fellowship at Michigan State University and Lansing Orthopedics in 2010, encompassing Interventional Spine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Pain Management. After spending a year in Reno, Nevada, Dr. Manzi returned to Houston, where she joined Pain Management Center of Houston, in conjunction with starting the Outpatient Interventional Pain program at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital. She now serves as off-site faculty for the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. In June of 2016, she opened Performance Pain and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Manzi is an active member of the Harris County Medical Society (HCMS) where she served as President of the Southwest Branch in 2020. She is now an active participant of the Central Branch.
